Home Care At Its Finest

We Are Providing Comprehensive Care Amid These Uncertain Times

December 29, 2022

With so much uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, it’s completely understandable that you may be feeling anxious, worried, or scared about your health and the health and wellbeing of those around you. At Collier Home Care, we are committed to providing our clients with superior home health care and service. But it is more important now to increase our level of care and practice diligence in everything we do.

With social distancing still in effect, home health care services are facing a unique challenge in needing to continue providing clients with exceptional care, while also taking every precaution to ensure that everyone is safe and protected. Our skilled nursing caregivers are highly trained and knowledgeable, capable of executing services with great attention to detail, giving our clients every assurance they are in good hands.

Home health care has the ability to provide comprehensive home care with limited exposure, so if you currently have in-home care through Collier Home Care, there are various ways to ensure you continue to receive the service you need.

PPE

All of our home health care providers will wear necessary personal protective equipment when administering in-home care, including face masks and gloves. We also highly encourage our clients to wear face masks as well to limit exposure to the virus.

In-Home Care

While a facility may have a wide range of staff to carousel from for your care, Collier Home Care goes through an intake process that allows us to select a caregiver that you can feel comfortable allowing into your home. When we are preparing to visit a client’s home, we will thoroughly wash our hands. And when a caregiver is inside a home, they will strive to touch as few surfaces and items as possible. With every service we offer and every home we visit, we will do everything possible to mitigate the risk of exposure to the Coronavirus. It is our top priority to give our clients every confidence that they are safe and secure.

Phone And Video Calls

For clients who are able, particularly those who are receiving companion care, our staff can make phone calls in lieu of in-home health care visits. We understand the desire to visit with someone one-on-one in order to feel the comfort of seeing someone’s face and being able to see their facial expressions. However, phone calls may be necessary in order to limit exposure and to offer as much protection as possible. We can make video calls when the technology is available, allowing you to get the personal attention you need.

During these troubling times, it is important to have the confidence that you aren’t being exposed to COVID-19 or any other possible viruses. At Collier Home Care, we believe that we can continue to provide comprehensive in-home care while also keeping our clients safe.

If you ever feel uncomfortable or uneasy about letting one of our healthcare providers in your home, please let us know, and we will do everything we can to ensure you get the care you need. We understand how overwhelming this situation is, but we are dedicated to providing the very best in-home care possible. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team if you have any questions.
